New here but curious if anyone can help with this. Sorry, only have iPad for pics so I can’t get too close. Thanks for any advice. 6CA8B318-56A5-450A-9686-19A2007F9AFE.jpeg 62FF416E-266F-4F2E-ABBD-5F3984C190CF.jpeg 21789F04-B1C6-4D6E-AA6F-4CC14BA95901.jpeg ED831B03-9E34-43BF-B3E5-4E21A92FAEFD.jpeg

it could be, but could also be a stain. I can't really tell.

I think the front of the forehead could be a crack, but the back appears to be more of a stain.

Use a toothpick, etc to see if it is raised or scrapes away. That would be the best way to tell.

Could be an early die stage of a shattered die, It really looks more like a stain to me. What does the third side look like at TY?

More examination is needed. At first I instantly said, "Die crack" but then read Evan's comments and looked at the newer photos and now doubt any cracks, but believe it is a stain.
Using the toothpick, as @Evan Saltis suggested, is an excellent start. Soaking in pure acetone is another possible step, to see if it will remove the stain, if that's what it is. Don't worry, acetone will not hurt of damage the coin, only remove "gunk" from the surface.
Be sure to post your results.

I will acquire some acetone and try that. Under 10x it does not look like a stain but I agree more study is needed. I will post results asap.

    thanks for everyone’s help.

After soaking in acetone and trying to remove it with a toothpick here are the results:
