I have a few Theodore Roosevelt quarters & this one is different from the rest.. Could is be an error? In this picture I'm looking at the bottom right corner of his pant leg.. It seems to have two indents, that my other quarters don't have. Can I have opinions?

It looks as if the bottom part took a hit-PMD, but the top portion "may" be doubling or another hit. Turn to the side under your magnifier and see if it is nice and rounded, not sharp and flat. If the latter, then another hit, if the former, then you might check www.doubleddie.com and see if you can find a match. If not then you may want to submit to John Wexler for attribution ( or not ). I have found on the Homestead, Ne. quarters that there is often a sharp hit next to some of the doubled dies so it just "may" be. Good luck. Tom
