2016 P Dime w/ doubling

    Some type of doubling on Roosevelt's eye. On the reverse there is a lot of doubling
    O and D in One dime
    O in Of
    E Pluribus Unum
    Leaves on oak and Olive.
    I wanted to pass this off as machine doubling but I also noticed that all the doubling is to the left the lettering on EPU notched at the top.

    Thank you! Good article that helps. The picture helps explain the step down that you found I had read about somewhere else. I think my worst problem is when a coin like that one has what appears to be a couple different types of doubling. Thought I would have picked this up by now
    Oh well still got a couple thousand miles to go on this trip. Never know what I'll run into
