I've sold one so far for slight profit, with a few more offers. If they sell out, they should do ok. Until then, marginal profits at best. BUT it is worth it to me, as I get to look through a bunch and pick out potential winners.
What is the difference between enhanced and reverse proof? I got my set yesterday and the coin looks like a reverse proof to me. Anyone have theirs yet and can post a picture so I can see if it looks like mine?
It's not a proof coin, it's an enhanced uncirculated coin. This from an old 'Coin World'....... "The Enhanced Uncirculated 2014-D Native American dollars were struck with dies that had details wire-brushed for brilliance or laser-frosted for contrast, Mint officials state. According to Mint officials, the coins were struck on the same Schuler MRV-300 press used to strike Uncirculated Mint set coins. The incuse edge device is imparted after the coins are struck, and orientation of the edge device is random." http://www.coinworld.com/insights/enhanced-uncirculated-native-american-dollars-in-demand.html
Got my two today - one will have to be returned, as there is black fuzz inside the coin holder, and the bill fell out of its plastic holder and is stuck to the cardboard glue... Other one looks great though!
Does anyone know if any 2014 coin and currency sets made 70 grades, and if so, what they sell for? I did a quick search on ebay and did not find any. I am trying to decide whether to try for some 70s on the 2015 sets.
Try is a wide open word. It is a packaging error and does not offer a premium. I could create that if it afforded an increase in value. I would return it before I would even think that way.
Do you get an email from The US Mint with an order shipped & tracking # via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Then you can log in to them and see it's location.
Right you are sir, overlooked that email I guess. FedEx is the way and it is showing Tuesday. Thank you!
Got my 2 set in today! Am not happy with the condition of the 1 set, that will be returned and exchanged unless between now and Monday, someone still wants it. Only 1 "black spot" found on the 2 coins, underneath the Baby's head This is the set that must be returned and exchanged, the Dollar is just a bit too far over....
