Gunk with a coin once pressed against it is what I'd say....

When you are an old fart like me, you will have seen many instances of coins in car/truck drink cubbies that are used to keep spare change. They end up being drowned in various substances like soda pop, coffee, wax, resin, glue, grease, lipstick and innumerable disgusting dregs too awful to mention. As a result coins get stuck together and end up corroded, moldy and otherwise environmentally impaired. This appears to be the case with your 2015-P Bombay Hook…imo…Spark

Looks like it sat at the bottom of a used spit cup (tobacco) until all the liquid evaporated, leaving just the hardened goo residue on the coin.

Looks like coins from the bottom of the cup holder in my dads car. Lots of dried up soda syrup.
