It appears to be DDD ( die deterioration doubling) it seems to be common on these from my understanding. But wait for more experience people to chime in on it, but I still would have to say DDD IMHO. Dave
I'm not one of the knowledgeable people here so I can't comment on whether it's a DD or not but with regards to the pictures, why not post it directly from your laptop? You can sign in to CT on your laptop. Curious why you take pictures of your laptop screen with your phone.
You are completely correct @McCann It is just DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling Nothing at all to do with true Hub Doubling which causes a Doubled Die.
I compared with a few other 2015s and this one to me, had alot more. Thanks for the information. McCann
Oops I think you missed something! Hard to tell though images are not so good. Or is .....oh yeah I have to put my glasses on first..... much better! Lol. Chew on that @paddyman98 I almost missed it but decided to look at the two images that WERE good enough to use for general inspection. And BOOM looky what we got! A full blown DDO. It was the “hinged” B and R that caught my eye immediately. Reed.
I see a lot of images, but nothing catches my eyes . At least for some of the Class 2s, that came out for this year .
Hey Rick, Yeah I didn’t see anything in the microscope images either. But the BER in liberty looked notched at the tops to me. But it doesn’t really matter it’s not my coin. Thanks for looking at it for the OP. Reed.
