Wow, first I got a 2015-D Cents at the end of January and today I have a 2015-D Nickel. They are showing early this year! Wonder if the feds think there is not enough in circulation? Usually it seems like it is between late April and June that I first find the new coins in circulation.
The cents I got back came from a Mickey D's. The Nickel came from a gas station. Possibly it is because places like this have to get a certain amount of coins for each days' business, and they are unlikely to get a lot in change from customers when items are purchased.
I got two homestead quarters today. I was dumping my box of pennies and needed $18.50 in paid back, the 50 cents turned out to be homestead quarters. I was happy to see them already.
