The 2015 show is moving right along! Andy Fitzsimmons of Elephant Ear Studios from Owego, NY has agreed to make 125 commemorative coffee mugs with the likeness of the 2015 medal die stamped into each mug. Each will be hand numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. In addition, Andy will be having demonstrations, and will be giving away (FREE) the die he used to stamp each mug. Just register while at the show. For information: http://www.battlefieldcoinshows.com/15Gburg.html We have the limited edition 2015 medal for sale. The obverse features a representation of Confederate President Jefferson Davis. We commissioned an artist to render his impression of a more youthful Jefferson Davis by utilizing 4 known portraits and his artistic ability. Our artist's portrait of Jefferson Davis is stunning. The reverse features the Confederate Half dollar, which is appropriate considering the use of the Confederate President's bust. Upon searching, we could find no medals which featured both the Confederate President and the Confederate half dollar reverse together. Last year's medals sold out quickly and are commanding a premium over issue price on Ebay. Order yours today and avoid the "sold out" disappointment. To order this year's medal, go to: http://www.battlefieldcoinshows.com/Coin.html The 2015 National Battlefield Coin Show will have more, and different dealers. The show is open for dealer setup on Thursday, September 10 from 7am-11:30 and Early Bird badges will be admitted from noon-5pm. Early Bird badges are $50 each and can be purchased early online or at the door. The show is open to the public with free admission and free parking from 10am-5pm on Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12. Dealer information can be accessed here: http://www.battlefieldcoinshows.com/Dealers.html Presentations on numismatic subjects will be presented. Several presenters have been lined up, and a list will be added to the website once all the subjects and presenters are finalized. Please plan to attend The National Battlefield Coin Show in Gettysburg, PA on September 10-12, 2015. Gettysburg is a beautiful town with something for everybody in the family to enjoy. And, yes, the food is GREAT! Stop by and say hello. I would be glad to meet everybody who attends.
Glad to hear everything is going well. I enjoyed last year's show and I'm looking forward to this one.
"You don't want to miss this show! " Last year's show was a huge success for the collectors , as well the dealers . I found some really nice finds at this show. Plus the prices were reasonable for a show its size. I took my neighbor up to the show last year..... all he talks about is are we going again this year? I'll be there on Friday looking forward Alan, Bill and Mike always a pleasure ! The Gettysburg show is a class act start to finish......

I've always wanted to visit Gettysburg. Sadly, home renovations will disallow my attendance this year. Dang it, one of these days I'm gonna make that show.
Alan has posted the list of dealers, if you like to get to know a few of my favorite ones PM me.Also if you are going to be there on Friday maybe we can hook up always glad to meet a CT member and introduce you to some of the dealers I know personally.
I very much enjoyed the Gettysburg show last year (and so did my boys), but alas I will be unable to attend this year. Rats.
Well you know there's several charter jets flying in from majors airports to Gettysburg . Just one problem Gettysburg don't have an airport. I believe they have a landing strip.
I just received this email from Mike. "The gentleman who designed the Colorado state quarter is coming to the show and will talk about his design and time at BEP. I am going to get a roll, card them up and give to the first 40 people at his table and get the card autographed. Friday at 3. Mike"
Very cool mug..... going to pick a couple of these for sure. They are each numbered and limited edition of what 175 pcs?
Andy has produced 125 handmade Commemorative Ceramic Coffee mugs for the show. Each person who visits Andy at the show will be registered into a drawing to win the die!
