You made me change my mind about the chance for this to be the worst coin ever. Those first two are awful, too.

That marine reverse shows the marines driving a stake through the heart of the earth and the eagle dragging away the dead carcass, well at least they are honest about foreign policy.

And that star spangled banner is as tacky as the flag shirts that people wear. Extreme flag worship shows the sorry state of the decline of freedom, when you have to try to propagandize loyalty it's a sure bet that you've lost honor and truth.

Personally, I'm not a fan of either the obverse or reverse.... There were better choices.

 

Stupid choices once again. Why not one word about our victory over polio, one of the world's most feared diseases? Not the worst choices, but certainly not the better ones either. Once again, bureaucratic fail.

 

What do you expect? It's all a political process. The FDR lobby wasn't going to let this coin happen without his image on it. That's also why all of our coins still have dead presidents on them!!

 

What are the mint marks for all march of dimes and marshalls coinage?. Anyone?. And thanks.
