My CC shows it as "processing" but the mint says it's backordered... I thought they didn't charge until it shipped?

 

Right now should be around 60,000 plus sold.

Darn! Why did they have to include these dimes with that dollar? I ordered five sets one for each of my three sons, one for me, and one to speculate. My wife, who has no interest in coins, saw the order and proclaimed, “What a cute baby, I want one of those”. Now I have none left to sell.

this set is giving me the itch to start a roosevelt dimes album...

 

Easiest album to fill, wasn't a challenge at all for me. Still fun though, plugging those holes.

 

2 Hrs?...it may take 2 yrs..LOL! I just ordered 10 sets. I know, I know, I am a sucker, have never ordered anything from the mint before.

 

My guess is that it is a sell out and mint continue to accept orders. The mint want to insure that all orders are problems free and can be successfully and completely processed.
May be we shall know it by noon today. Exactly one day of sale.

I agree, from the looks of it, probably sold all of the online quota amounts in less than 30 minutes yesterday. Saved some for mail orders, etc... They are taking back-orders as a waiting list of sorts for any cancellations, returns or cheaters. I will be interested to see how many Mike Mezak on HSN will be pushing this weekend? Probably more than 5!
