Tell me about it.......tried to sell one this past Sunday (local show) and was low balled time and again. Back it goes, into the collection. Maybe things will be better down the road? Oh, well. I didn't buy it to make a whole bunch of money.......I knew that wasn't going to happen, but I was hoping for maybe a little extra cash at the show. Didn't happen but no biggie. :)

Of course...who would pay over mint price if you can still order from the mint.

I sold all my Kennedy sets to one buyer last week on the CU BST forum. Got $75 each, no Ebay or PP fees. Would have needed $90 each on Ebay to clear $75.

No 70's for me. I think the US Mint was more interested in quantity than Quality :shifty:

@McBlzr , I understand why you'd want 70's for your sets, but how can you say the quality it bad when you received 69's?

Kennedy #2 Has scratches in the left field by his nose. I think they ran the minting process at higher speeds to reach the needed quantity quicker to meet demand.

I called about the Retro Black Holders and the gal serv. rep said they were NOT available for the Coin & Chronicles Sets submissions.

On my 69 silver medal I knew it wouldn't get a 70 as there is a die chip on the neck. It's raised die chip on 2015 kennedy silver.jpg

I think she fed you a line of bull. I've seen black kennedy rp's on other forums and mine are there now for the black. Seems like they don't know what the other hand is doing with this retro offering

I didn't care about the RP I wanted the medal in the retro, but if I had to I would have had both in the retro

Ah yes the metal us a no go in black. I did have to split mine in 2 orders. Well actually 3 orders with the morgan... I have a fire red target toned 2000p sac dollar I wanted in black too but it would have cost about $40 just to have it on its own form because the medal and rp were FS labels. It was very confusing to get that entire submission thought out
