Maybe not since they doubled the 20,000 for the Kennedy to 40,000 sets. If anything at all, the next set won't have any premiums associated with it at all.

They'll probably double the Johnson as well since you know how they hate screwing up.

Just got second confirmation email from US Mint! This one may be the key for those on the cusp. TC

 

I was ready at 12:00 and signed in. the site kept going to web page not availble. after numerous trys i finally got mine in at 12:08. What will the flippers do that presold them on Ebay?

Why did I have to put my CC info again? Noconformation yet but I have an order number.

 

Looks like the are anticipating that the Kennedy name as a large draw and that it will be very popular, time will tell.

 

It's going to suck to buy the set in the aftermarket [emoji31]

What a cluster, I guess its becoming more and more like a lottery for sets like these. I thought I was well prepared for this one

 

Give a year or 2 since the presale sets were going for close to $200 which is just nutz!

Lol not going to buy that. I'll wait a year or two & see how prices are at that point

 

The US Mint FAILED. They created a proof set that sold at least 4 million on the lowest yer. then they make a reverse proof of only 17,000. I am sure they ruined about 2 million of their customers sets. Now 17,000 can get a complete proof president sets. I want to ask what were they thinking. But apparently they were NOT thinking.

 

Anyone else get 2 emails (acknowledgement/confirmation) from the US Mint?

Yep, I did. Also had a lot of trouble having to re-enter my CC info. I thought it was just because I had added a new CC this am.

 

I got an Acknowledgement Email first and then a few minutes later a Confirmation Email. However no second Confirmation Email.

I feel pretty good at this point, as I have never failed to receive an order after getting the Confirmation..

 

I don't have any concerns that I won't get my 2 sets unless the US Mint and/or their fulfillment center gets nuked or something...
