That coin... does nothing to alter my opinion of reverse proofs in general.

I don't think they want another fiasco like they had last year. Depending on what is in the set, along with mintage limit numbers, will be the determining factor for demand........but I have a feeling they're gonna 'up' the numbers on this one.

Opinion regarding issues like these is very strongly divided........ya either love 'em or hate 'em.

Of course the ANA doesn't want it to be crazy again in Chicago this year, but the US Mint doesn't care at all. I think they'll have them for sale at the show and I think it'll get a little crazy. But it'll only be one day of crazy hopefully instead of the multiple days they had last year w/ the Kennedy coin.

Very little chance that the Mint will change the mintage numbers of these sets... a little bit better chance they'll lower the household limit from 5, but doubt that too. They don't care if they sell out in 15 minutes vs. a couple of hours vs. a couple of days. The mintage will be 17,000 sets for the Eisenhower & Johnson sets and 25,000 for the Kennedy sets.

NGC RP69 ends in 7 hours, already up to $265 with 43 bids. Will it break $300?

I've sold 3 boxes of 5 for $650 each. Went for the quick flip instead of taking the risk to grade them. With the prices of the 69's already, I might should have graded them!

Makes sense........Then, if these don't sell out in 15 minutes (and manage to remain on sale for a month or so) they'll drop the household limit (if any)......

The mint has the offering up on their website, but without any details. We'll have to stay tuned. :)

I'm betting the opposite, as the mint does care about profit. The maximum profit would be had by doing the least popular option, increase the mintage and leave the household max at 5. The mint could sell 50k to 100k of each set by allowing the flippers to buy a bunch.

However, the flippers wouldn't want to buy nearly as many if the mintage was increased.

Are there going to be reverse proofs in the remaining sets? That's the question......

True, but 50k has already been done with the 2014 NA Dollar, so somewhere north of 50k, definitely not less. Remember the mint is interested in maximizing its profit.

As has been mentioned, if the mint raises the mintages of subsequent sets significantly, it should send the price of Truman to the moon.

From what I've seen, eBay BIN prices have gone down the last few days. The long term outlook is far from certain.
