2015 presidents chronicles set with reverse proof coin on one dollar coin. Mint mark p. President Truman, president Eisenhower, president Kennedy and president Johnson.

    Set composed of:
    President silver medal
    President bronze medal
    One dollar reverse proof coin
President stamps and booklet w/ info.

    Mintage:
    Pres. Truman - 17,000
    Pres. Eisenhower -17,000
    Pres. Kennedy - 25,000
    Pres. Johnson - 17,000

Pres. Kennedy should be the most popular one.
But the other three presidents one dollar reverse proof will be the lowest mintage for the presidential dollar series at 17,000 only.

Plan to get all of them. But limited five sets each only. Are you guys plan to do the same?.

June 30th. President Truman chronicles set offer at $57.95.

Yes. I will pick up a couple of these even though I cannot help but wonder what in the heck the US Mint is thinking!

    Oh yeah, I forgot!

Start the series off with "Signature Sets"
    Cancel the "Signature Sets"
End the series with "Reverse Proof Sets" (masquerading as a Chronicles Set)
    Leave Collectors scratching their heads............

Got the mint's email on this a few days ago. Gonna pass on these. Not a fan of the Presidential Dollars and never have been a fan of the Reverse proof. Although I did get one in the March of Dimes set. I would have preferred an Enhanced uncirculated dime.

The most beautiful coin on earth is the proof. No wonder it is very plentiful. People like reverse proof and enhanced uncirculated. Simple because they are produce in smaller quantity and the price usually push up by investors and collectors.

There will be nine chronicles coin set as of 2015.

    2005 John Marshall - 25,000
    2006 Benjamin Franklin - 50,000
    2009 Abraham Lincoln - 30,000
    2013 Theodore Roosevelt - unlimited
    2014 Franklin Roosevelt - 20,000
    2015 Harry Truman - 17,000
    2015 Dwight Eisenhower - 17,000
    2015 John Kennedy - 25,000
    2015 Lyndon Johnson - 17,000

Correction: there will be no bronze medal for those four chronicles set. The mint gives you a reverse proof coin and take back the bronze medal.

Do not discourage. You still have four issues this year with reverse proof. And the mintage is much lower than March of dime 75,000.

    Truman chronicles set - 17,000
    Eisenhower chronicles set - 17,000
    Kennedy chronicles set - 25,000
    Johnson chronicles set - 17,000

Even though those mintages have been published, the mint has not made them official. They will probably be low, but hopefully not that low - they could easily sell 50k of each. At the mintages you listed, you could loose out if your internet is down for a few minutes or you get an error page, like happened to many when ordering the MoF Set.

Whatever the mintages, hopefully they have them all made, nothing like killing sales by running out of stock.

Oh yeah, thanks mint for making me pay a lot more than necessary by including a silver medal I don't want.

  12. I wonder how they came up with these mintages. They will probably reduce HH limit to one like they did with 2009 Lincoln Coin & Chronicles set. I know 17K seems like a low mintage but not sure demand is that strong for a clad Presidential dollar.

I could live with 1 per HH, that would slow down sales.

Well, the Presidents are more popular than the NA Dollars and they sold a bunch of the 2014 sets fast, when it became clear there was an EU coin in it.

I don't necessarily care for the "Reverse Proof" method of manufacture.

I definitely prefer the old fashioned "Deep Cameo Proof" where the cameo frosting is the result of acid etching instead of computerized "dippling".

I like proof. I really do not like reverse proof. I buy reverse proof to make money. I keep proof for my collection.

I have to admit a set with a mintage of just 17,000 really sounds tempting, but I absolutely HATE reverse proofs. I find them horribly ugly.

Me too. Some people like it because the price is always higher due to fewer mintage. Other than that. It is really ugly.

I also enjoy computer etched proofs. Maybe I'm in the minority?
