    With the exception of the kind that adds value to the coin. Quite common on the dimes. Nice photos. Your coin is well struck.

    Keep in mind business strikes are minted for commerce, the mint ends up using the dies far longer than they should...they have no qualms about die chips or DDD until it hits a certain threshold.
