2014 Platinum American Eagle: New Same as Old

    The 2014 Platinum American Eagle. I kind of still like the design, but they could do something different. Nah, I don't really like the design at all, it's uninspired and overdue for a change. The silver and gold coins look so much nicer.

    The reverses on the proofs are interesting at least (but the uncirculated versions don't do anything special with the reverse).

    This coin is priced out of the market for me anyway lol... as long as we're making wishes, also wish that they'd bring back the fractional platinum coins (and for that matter, fraction gold buffaloes).
