Thanks nice guys! THATS a response that doesn't make me feel like a dummy. OK, just to prove that I'm not just being a girl, bring it on tough guys. Let's see what you've got! I'm going to add some photos of other coins I have later today from the collection I inherited. I need to get something out of this. And Idhair....see...you just HAAADDDD to say I'm here just to pick a fight because you had nothing intelligent to say about coins. Point proven. And Lord, yes, I'll accept your peace offering since you offered, i'll let you know if I forgive you. I will PM my address. OK, so when I get back later today....gonna get these coins on here, ya'll just pick one to comment on. So....bring it.
I'm looking forward to see what you have to post. I hope that I will be able to help you. If I may make a couple of suggestions, though. It would be better if you cropped your images, first, resized them, next, and then used the "Full Image" option rather than the "Thumbnail" option. The Thumbnail option sucks! Also, it might be better if you posted one coin per thread. That way, it would be easier for you and the other members to comment on each one and avoid any confusion. Thanks! Chris
You have my promise. I will only give you honest, intelligent answers to your post. That's what you get on this site but it's up to you to understand what is being said.
I hope I can help you too. And about what lordmarcovan said, he didnt mean it to be mean, just as a joke. But I see how you saw it as so. The coin you pictured is damage, likely zinc rot, as zinc is a reactive metal. -SC
That makes perfect sense. Thanks for the help. I have so many coins, US and foreign, medals that are very few labeled for me to know what they are. There are alot of the Morgan and Gauden Dollars that are easy to identify, then there are those foreign coins that I have no idea about. I know I have to learn to nagivate this site to put things in the proper place so ya'll bare with me.
I can identify anything you need for you, or at least try. Just let me know. You have some St. Gauden dollars? Id like to see!
