2014 New Years Resolution - Finish my Wheat Collection

I hear ya MM. I also collect the Moderns and I have more than a few of those missing from my collection, but it's basically complete from 2000 on.

Good Luck! Just finished mine(1909-current) a few months back after 2 decades! Sad part is I haven't even looked at them since I finished it. Been trying to decide what to collect next...

Lincoln Wheats are a gate way drug... I know from experience!

 

Its funny wheat and lincoln cents are my least favorite coin ever and I just can't ever see myself collecting them. But they are a challenging set considering they are 104 years old now. I don't see them as a gateway drug. My gateway drugs were bullion silver rounds which led to Franklin half dollars. I love to collect coins with silver in them probably why Lincoln cents never appealed to me plus I am not a fan of presidents on coins. I would totally do a Indian Head cent collection. But everyone has there own love and coins they like to collect.
