2014 Kennedy 50th anniversary announcement

Anyone else think the Mint will issue the silver set at the Whitman Baltimore show Oct 30th to Nov 2nd? Be PERFECT timing for that to come out.

Quite a hustle, I wonder how many more coin company's are out hustling buyers to gather as many Kennedy coins as possible? Problem is, I really don't think all the Kennedy coins will sell like hot cakes, just the gold Kennedy coin!!

 

Looks like they sold out of the available supply, as the current expected shipping date is 9/6 - glad I got my order in early.

 

I'm definitely going to get a couple silver sets. Since the clad has no mintage limit, I'm going to order those at the same time.

 

I hope you're wrong, but I think you're right.

 

The pictures of the line are crazy. If there are that many people for the clad coins, no telling what the line will look like for the gold.

Since my two Hall of Fame gold coins were cancelled as sold out, I have "gold money" lying around for redeployment. The gold Kennedy half will have to be purchased.

I logged on yesterday to look up something and the ship date for this set was 7/28. When I came back to the page debating whether to purchase one now, wait, or pass on it, the ship date jumped to 9/30!
