That is because the Lincoln cents produced since 1982 are 99.2% zinc with an 0.8% outer layer of copper.

Wish it was a 1974 aluminum penny that would be a nice find.

Nah, too hard to move. I prefer the 1943 copper and 1944 steel cents. In fact, I just doubled the number of each in my collection. ;)

For an original '64 Peace and '33 Saint? Heck, I'd bet you could get $15 million each from one of the private mints in China.

Well, the big advantage of the off-metal wheats is that they're entirely legal to own, buy and sell. For a 64 Peace or 33 Saint, you're getting into money-laundering territory.

Private sales to billionaires would be the goal. They'll pay it and love the illicit factor hiding them in they're underground panic rooms lol

Yeah, but how do you explain the $15M that mysteriously shows up in your possession?

That's easy. There are tons of ways that his financial team can come up with. For instance, You were a temporary consultant to one the billionaires subsidiaries and were paid a handsome fee... or you make a few speaches at one of his companies. Sound familiar lol
