I think that's because there was 4 million and some change minted that year for Denver. I'm not sure about that. I figured you would tell me. I did ask a question lol idk much about the science of it. I just want to find it haha

The other reason I don't see 1991-D's here is because I'm within decent tailwind-aided urination distance from Philly (an exaggeration, but not much). Actually, the Schuylkill River might make it literally true. Hmm. Anyway, finding D cents in commerce pretty much doesn't happen here.

True story - when I was in Denver a few weeks ago, I was watching my change received VERY closely. I was there over a week, and most of my transactions were not in cash. But there were some. I was amazed that Denver and Philly coins were encountered in about a 50/50 proportion, WITHING BLOCKS of the Denver Mint. I was blown away.

Ahh yeah. I'm wondering if I will ever see any of those philly shield cents for 2017. I hate that Denver is basically non existent with the ddo/ddr for the last 6 years. :(

As long as the federal government still screens for weed, as I think they do, Denver is going to remain just plain a higher quality shop, staffed by a higher quality staff. That's harsh, I know. But I believe it.

I just got a bank box last week hoping NOT to see to many P 2017 cents and I got a box full of them. Each roll is peppered with a few Memorials so I'm having to go through all of them anyways. I have an outlet for the 2017's but I did not need this many. P.M. me and I'll send you a roll. And Kurt is spot on about Denver, much better quality control over there. Not harsh at all.

Ty, that's the part where we'll likely never agree. To me, the having is far less important than the knowing the answers of how and what. I chalk it up to not likely being around for all that many more years, and being okay with that. A progressive disease (slow but unrelenting) changes one's priorities.
