2013 Nickel obverse anomaly.

    This looks to me like an alloy mixture issue, as a die crack would be more sharp/clear. Same for your other coin, but others may offer something more concrete.

    I don't know what it is! Guessing it happened during the clad bonding process...such as a warp in the clad layer.

    Nickels don't have a clad layer.
