Found this quarter in some change. Wondering if it is an error, and if so, what type? My pictures aren't real clear. I can try to get a more clear image. I just have an older digital microscope. Thanks!
It could be. The letters "of and the first part of "America," are completely not there, but neither is the rim above it. When I picked it up I thought it was going to be an older quarter from the 60's-70's because it looks a bit worn. I'll hold on to it. It's still an interesting piece.
