Hi all, i was wondering if anybody could give me any information about if this is desireable or not, how would i get the errors documented on the label? I know basics about pcgs and ngc and know they have a list of specific die varieties but have not seen any such list for errors. This is pcgs graded sp69 . i have tried to capture both issues but its difficult to see the rim well. The suspected dieclash is at the tips of st. gaudens pointing two fingers near the rim , right near the most drastic rim problem. Also there is some doubling of some sort but i only mention it for completeness and potentially posterity ,as I am aware that is a die variety and not a mint error. The dimes i pulled from an obwr, the polishing marks are a clearly dominant feature , even over the doubled lips that show too. Would that be evidence of a die clash of the cheek? Its not damage persay. No metal was moved, that cheek mark seems to be part of the strike. Under 10x and very much under 20x magnification it shows compression and many fine lines running the length of the mark. This doesnt mean i am married to the concept...any of them , i just want to get some good info , maybe rough values to farely trade out those items and where to find information about stuff like the hotlips , that arent in the standard places. Lastly.i am working on a usable bugsbunny dime picture still and will add or edit it into this comment or thread as soon as i do. I also have to post them in the variety section for the obvious reasons. Thankyou for any help i can get.
