Need an opinion. I purchased a 2012 Silver Proof set as a gift for my Grandson's 18th Birthday. I got it last night and noticed that the Chaco quarter has a "blemish" on the reverse and that there is also a small scratch on the reverse side of the holder and a longer scratch on the obverse side. Not deep but noticeable The rest of the coins appear flawless. Now, my grandson would never notice the spot on the coin, but I saw it right off. It is just under the C in Culture. The case also has a pinprick scratch in the same area so look below that. There is no question that I can return it for a refund, but forget about an exchange. These sets are already going for $120+ on the bay and I paid $65 for the set.

What would you do? Give him the set anyway, or return it?

Please forgive the photo. I took it in a hurry this morning in a rush to get to work. I think my camera is going south on me. Same lighting and settings but just couldn't get a cameo effect today. Too big of a hurry.
