2012 sacagawea question

    Is this a die gouge or a lamination error?, or neither... from 2012 uncirculated coin set

    Not a Die Gouge. It would be a raised line. It seems incused..is it?

    Looks like it could be a "struck through"

    It's a lamination . If it was a strike through, wouldn't that part of the design be missing ?

    It looks at the start to be a lamination but just before and entering the hair appears to be twisted like a shard of metal or metal filing, so I will have to guess a struck through. Had it been cloth or a grease then the hair would have been blotted or missing more detail. It also appears too wide to be a wire bristle from a brush.
