There is no other greater proponent for OGP than this old sod, and no, it's not because of the so called pretty packaging......but I do, in many cases like it. I know the extra bulkiness of the product packaging takes up space, but I'm willing to deal with it. It's how I collect. When I decide to purchase something from the mint, it's based on what I need to keep my collection up to date in any given year. If I happen to miss purchasing something in a given year I'll seek it in the aftermarket. The aftermarket product has to be in OGP or I don't want it. Simple as that.

Now, the subject product of this thread is superfluous overkill........for me. I don't need the coins in this set. I've already gotten them in the form of other product packaging's from the US Mint. But lets step back for a second and take into thought what another collector might feel. Perhaps he doesn't collect the same way as I do. Perhaps he doesn't want all of the product offerings that the mint provides (and I buy) and he just wants the sampling of coinage provided in this set. Yeah, he knows he may be paying more, but why should he go through the hassle of ordering three separate products to achieve his need, when he can have his cake by ordering one? Simple as that.

Besides, he likes the pretty packaging..........
