The current mintage lows for each denomination are: 2001 1 oz Proof – 24,555 2008 1/2 oz Proof – 22,602 2008 1/4 oz Proof – 18,877 2008 1/10 oz Proof – 28,116 I know they sold a few thousand more 4 coin sets but this should still be a record year! Happy boy~ J
I was contemplating letting go of my 2008 1/10 oz AGE NGC PF70 UCAM and wasn't sure of the value since it was considered a "key". I guess it takes a hit now with this news right?
Hate to say it but yeah I think so... I think they sold about 3k-5k more of the 4 coin sets since these numbers were published, but even still I think these are going to end up lower mintage #'s My guess on final mintages: 2012 Gold eagle proof 1 oz - 24,000~ 2012 Gold eagle proof 1/2 oz - 14,000~ 2012 Gold eagle proof 1/4 oz - 15,000~ 2012 Gold eagle proof 1/10 oz - 21,500~
