The reverse under Monticello is definitely a clash, The odd thing is the right eye. Looks like a struck through to me. What say you? Any thoughts are appreciated! DSC02093.JPG DSC02097.JPG DSC02101.JPG DSC02104.JPG

It looks like a strikethrough on the obverse, but why does it appear as part of the clash on the reverse? Am I hallucinating?

I don't know. It is a very intriguing coin.

Also the most curious part to me.IS why isn't there any sings of the clash on the obverse? All newer nickel clashes I've seen have always had a straight line through both eyes.

Not all clashes will show on both sides.

Right. I was mentioning my experience with the newer nickels. I have plenty of the older style nickels with single sided clashes.
