As it stands though the interest isn't there. Most folks are gonna call it machine doubling at sight, or worse, say it was stuck more than once as the cause as it was struck at San Francisco and it was in the anniversary set with the proofs and dismiss it. I think this is why mostly that NGC and PCGS won't slab it with the DDO attribute. That and to get the anniversary set designation from them on every coin it all had to be submitted at once in the mint shipping packaging and they weren't attributing it from the start. The set is valued. So are the individual coins. Unless it becomes a die variety collectors want and need it may not ever get a DDO bump that pushes it above the non-DDO. I'd still be happy to have one in my collection and find out how to get it attributed by ANACS because ya never know what direction the future goes.[/QUOTE]
