So, now that we've seen how 2009 is going to wrap up, bust out your crystal balls for 2010. When do you think we'll see the new year's first W? And which do you think that first one will be? ASE, AGE or AGB? I'll get the party started and predict 2nd quarter to see the ASE proof and unc. to hit.
I'm going to go with 2Q. I don't see them releasing right away, but I think they're going to be sure not to wait too long, before they lose too much interest. I do believe 2010 will be a great year for ASEs in terms of being lower-than-normal sales/mintages, mainly due to some lost interest from those who stop the series where the mint stopped the series, and from those who simply don't want to ante up for the higher current prices. Probably a lot of that will be based on the price of silver between now and then. I would expect a big swing in volume between a $30 issue price and a $40 issue price.
