1st paragraph I actually sat up in my chair. Said, here is a guy that speaks at ANA conventions, I really want to know his opinion. Then, well, not all of us grew up on the streets of the NW. And most of us didn't have to carry a sock of nickels either. Just to letting you know there are folks out there that collect LDS (late die state) coins. Just because they may be new to this, doesn't mean, that they are only in it for the money. There will always be some sort of generational gap in this Hobby, and it is our duty to help further there education. My only point is that, in this day and age the young collectors communicate this way, they use a device to help them. The older generations like to look someone in the eye, and it seems to be passing to the waste side. It used to be, the way you could tell if someone was "pulling your leg". But, that is not the way it is today, what you post is your character. Your a Hard nosed individual (not a bad thing) But, what a newbie, young or old hears, is Dissent. I am passionate about this hobby. And, if we wish that it gets passed down to the future generations, we should be humble. To those who get to pass the torch. Just like everything that is raw, it needs to be refined to a pure content. Errors, Variety's, RPM's and Doubled Dies, may or may not be the wave of the future, But it IS the wave of this generation. My best regards, Phil
