I shipped 5 units of my problem coins back to PBGS Customer Service. I requested a refund and included printed images of the haze problem along with a letter explaining the issue. I implored them to look into this as both a quality control issue and one that ultimately results from a problem of production that remains after minting. I also offered them to contact me if they needed to. I doubt I&#039;ll hear anything about this ever from the Mint or PBGS. </p><p><br /></p><p>I kept three units, two are definitely staying in my collection and are problem free. The third coin has very minimal haze on the reverse near a wing tip but otherwise looks problem free. I still have time to return it but may keep it in the event the haze tones nicely over time or these hazy coins become some oddity.
