Hi greeny, had a surgery a few months back & slowed me down a bit , but good to be back on my feet.

Ok, the mint has now changed my ship date from 28 to 30 November and I got a request from the mint to take a survey of their performance today. What great timing?

 

Phil, same here. They need those two days to make up for Veteran's day.

 

I hope I get that survey and that they have a text comment box!!!!

The mint just pushed delivery back another day.

2010 AE SILVER PRF 1 OZ 2 $45.95 $91.90 2 units backordered. Expected to ship on 12/01/2010.

 

Maybe these dates being pushed back mean that they are not producing the 200k per month that they anticipated. I really thought they would start making them in the beginning of Oct and have them ready to go on time (for once). I wonder if they will continue to mint them into 2011 until they fill all orders placed, or if they cut production off at some point.

 

This is the type of phenomena that has occurred before when I've ordered mint items by subscription. They begin pushing the date of shipping back as the day of release approaches. Most often, the shipment arrives well before the expected delivery date. Hope this will be the case in this situation as well. The only time I had a real protracted problem with the shipping date being pushed back and back (and it wasn't a subscription) was with the high relief St. Gaudens. At first the shipping date showed late February after which, it gradually retreated into March and April. That was a real frustrating experience.

I got this email too but didn't get the first one. I'm expecting it to arrive around Christmas when I'm traveling to visit my daughters on the west coast.

 

I have a question. I went to the us mint website to the subscriptions page. They listed the ASE as 2011. Where can I order the 2010 ASE proof from the subscription page.
