These PCGS Light Satin Coins have been missed on the first labeling...this coin was sent in for "Reconsdideration-Suffix-Light Satin", and, they agreed. It's a no-brainer...normal SP Strike is quite rough, like pebbles...these Satins(I wish they would just change it to "Matte"), are much smoother..on BOTH Sides...don't even need a loupe to see the difference. Here's the BAD news: Recently, NGC Yanked all but GRAND CANYON from their 2010-present 5 Oz. SP Set Registry...their answer was the other 4 coins were "too rare" for the everyday collector to own...PCGS, at present, does NOT have these in their Set Registry.
They will not be in the Newest Cherrypickers Guide, as they are considered a post-strike error, and, not a true Variety(a working die issue)...
    Breakdown for POP(In ALL labels)
    GRAND CANYON---NGC=390---PCGS---85
    HOT SPRINGS------NGC=17----PCGS---43
    YELLOWSTONE----NGC---5-----PCGS----3
    GETYYSBURG------NGC--0------PCGS---17
    OLYMPIC-----------NGC---0-----PCGS---15

  4. I need to go to the SDB and take a look at my early pucks to see if they have this light finish. TC
