Bad news for me and others who bought a lot of these coins (I'm into them for 40). More and more, I am thinking that Mr. Krispy's reasoned and well-articulated commentary is about on the mark. In a nutshell, these coins just haven't sold quickly enough, and demand is unlikely to rise substantially in the future. I just don't see kids or their adult relatives/friends shelling out more than about $50.00 for a scout-themed coin. There are so many other meaningful gifts that can be given for said amount or even less. It was crazy for me to think that these could sell for three digit prices.
