Hello. I haven't been collecting but for a couple of years. I've been hoarding all my change. I put it all in a jar and never leave the house with change. I only give bills to cashiers so I have change to bring home. So, all year I've been checking my change and have not found but *one* ATB quarter. That was when I took a trip out of state. I'm in Ky and went to TX. I thought that was curious and went online to some coin forums where I found threads where other 'pocket changers' were having the exact same experience. So, for some reason these quarters haven't been circulating. The mintages for the quarters so far as I can tell has only been about a tenth of the state quarters. I'm thinking that even though the mintages are low, the circulation is so low that there must be a buildup at fed banks. Just speculation; I'm sure others know much better than I, (which is why I'm posting). 1. Wouldn't it be worthwhile to get a couple of rolls from each mint of each coin? 2. Will a buildup of quarters influence the mint's decision on the 2011 coinage?
