Was just on the US MINT PAGE CHECKING OUT THE 2010 BUFFALO'S Proofs, Well kind of happy on price as when I got this coin I paid 1,510.00, since then it's gone up 100.00 reason saying happy on this , I had to ask my wife if OK get one back then, so she will be happy once I tell her price went up.Question on guys here do you have to ask your wife if married on buying a coin like this that cost alot before you can get it, or do you get coin and hope she doesn't find out you did. LOL shows who in my family who wears the the pants LOL. Carl
Well don't be too happy. If you tried to resell that coin on the secondary market or to a dealer, you might get less than what you originally paid while PoG is still far below $1,510... AND, the Mint could correct their retail prices back down or below depending on what PoG average price is doing on the market according to the United States Mint Coin Pricing Grid [Link is a US Mint PDF]
I don't tell my wife nothin' man!! The way I see it she is on a needs to know basis and she don't need to know!:T$: Just kidding of course!! Hell yes I gotta keep the peace so I tell the boss everything!!
Chris, my wife don't know that, but showing her that they went up to 1,610 lets me off the hook on paying 1,510.00 before. so way she see it it's like a sale If I tell her it's on sale I can get it LOL. Carl p.s try that with your wife's tell them it's on sale and they love sales.
problem with sale items is it works both ways, you find a sale and want something, fine, they find a sale and you get to buy that for them too.
mintage of 2010w AGB one ounce proof gold coin might come out the same figures aas of that 2009w AGB. that is few coins below 50,000. by the way apmex is selling 2009w at $1,732.40 each. and 2010w at $1,660.00.
Is 2010 a key Buffalo? The mint cut off production very early. With less than 50,000, IMHO this appears to be a new gold key issue.
