Yes, I plan to buy one tomorrow. I know it is overpriced but I would like an example of an Ultra High Relief St. Gaudens. This is the only way I will ever be able to afford one.

I will buy one but not for me.
Limit of 1 is really gonna hurt coin dealers. I'm ordering for the boss. $50 in it for me.

  6. Wish i could get my hand on one of those... probably NOT gonna happen :\

I called the mint for a price and was told they would release it tomorrow (22nd) at noon. And, every Wednesday they will look at the price of Gold and adjust the price accordingly. Which means whenever they want to. If gold goes down the HR Double Eagle may cost less, a little bit down the road, than the introductory price.

I'd love to buy one but I'm going to have to hold off for a while or forgo it completely.

I will be getting one. I can't wait. I have looked forward to this day for a long time. Fortuantely, the hospital I work in added WiFi about six months ago so I don't have to worry about running home to get on the computer.

On per family...do doubt coin dealers will be getting there hundreds...and in turn selling them for hundreds more.

Unless you mean unofficial coin dealers who buy them the normal route and then sell them on.

I really would like one of these....they wont be sold out in 5 weeks will they?

I might be able to get one then.

    EDIT:

    Isn't the dollar $1.39 to a £?

Even a 10 cents change in my favour is $100+.

    I could almost cry thinking such a coin would be £600 a year ago...and now it's £900

With gold currently at $859 an ounce ...what do you bet the UHR is priced at $1,239 and not $1,189?

It will be interesting to see at Noon.

if the mint based on today prices to sell to us. then the mint is cheating us. the mint should use the last five day london averages to base it. period. let's see.
