I found this searching a stack of two dollar bills. It’s in great condition. Can anyone tell me what it’s worth? Thanks.

Uncirculated 2009 $2 New York replacement notes sell anywhere from $10 and up depending on condition. Your serial number (trinary) may attract a buyer that likes 8’s. Get it into a currency sleeve before the corners get more banged up.

There's no such thing as a trinomial. That is a made up term.
However, if Steve in Tampa says this star note in good condition has value,
then it does. To me it's just $2.

BTW, try to post FULL SIZE (click on Full Size when uploading photos) and not thumbnail photos please. You should also include face and back photos for members to evaluate.

I guess having only a three number combination is nice, but for what
ever reason $2 bills are not that popular, my father in law passed away
several years ago and we fond about 100 $2 bills in an envelope taped
to the bottom side of a drawer, maybe he thought they would be worth
allot someday, as of right now, not really.

Yeah, two dollar bills aren’t worth anything over face value. They are still printed every few years. The most recent I’ve seen is 2013. They’re still fun to look through though and you can get a bunch at the bank.

Yeah, its just odd, similar it to popularity of the Sacagawea dollar

Yeah. I actually got three rolls of uncirculated Sacagawea dollars in the original mint wrapping from the bank a few months ago. Most people look through them to find the wounded eagle variety but I’m scared haha.

As for the note posted by the OP, it looks crisp and has a lower number so it should be about $10, give or take a buck or two. Please place in a currency sleeve for protection.
