From a coin dealer in Nebraska and my coin dealer here in Indiana. The Indiana dealer CAN'T get the cents at this time and it does not look good for him. I might add part of the problem with distribution was the fact the U.S. Mint moved their distribution center from Tenn. to Indiana recently. Apparently that put Indiana in a bad spot? Don't want to play favoritism? None the less, I am just passing on info I have received which I have no reason to doubt at this time. Sometimes I am right and sometimes I am wrong but either way if the info helps anyone, including me, I am glad I got it. Oh, I did finally buy from an out of state dealer after seeing the dramatics on Ebay. Don't like paying a premium for modern circulating coins but it does appear normal channels are not going to happen with these coins.

When the first statehood quarters were released most of the armored car companies found out very quickly the private sector was much more willing to pay premiums for those quarters as the banks were not about to do such a thing. I believe it is happening all over again and, if I owned an armored car company, I would probably seek out those extra $$$ for my coins. After all most banks don't care about dates or mintmarks when they order change. They just want the coinage needed to operate on a daily basis. Free enterprise and capitalism at its finest!!!
