2009 Mint clad proof set & silver proof set

The light blue box is sealed on one end, and the other end has a place for it to be opened.

I just thought I would mention it in case some new collector started tearing into the boxes.

received all my 100 set of 2009 clad proof set. and plan to buy some more. maybe another 100. when you divide the price $29.95 by four cases. it came out $7.49 each. and the lincoln four proof cents is selling around $15.95. the 6 pc quarters is selling at $8.95. the 4 pc prez set is selling at $11.95. and the other 4 pc is selling at $18.50. that include the sac dollar, half dollar, dime and nickel.

 

Are you sure on that last one? I just happened to look last night and thought the 4-pc was (on eBay) going for around $11 or $12 . . .

 

yes. the prices at e-bay is always fluctuated every minute. the one i got is from skyline.

 

10 more days to go. the 2009 silver proof set is ready for us. are you guys planning to buy it?. and how many sets?. price $52.95 a set.

 

OUCH! At least it may keep the mintage down!

 

yeah. specially the silver moving down. $47.95 is better.

the mint added $3.00 for clad proof set. ($26.95 to $29.95). the mint should have add $3.00 to its silver proof set. ($44.95 to $47.95). instead the mint added $8.00 to it at $52.95 a set. the silver price is down. i wonder the mintage might be really low then.

 

elaine, how many 2008 clad proof sets did you buy?

 

And how many did you sell?

 

i bought 200 sets. 100 on the mint first day offer. and another 100 one week later. no plan to increase it at this time. i have to check the mintage on november this year. the mint will close silver, clad proof sets and mint unc set on december 31. the 2010 three kinds of set will be offer at the same time on january, 2010. regarding selling. i never sell any mint products since 1984. as to 2009 silver proof set and mint unc set. still too early to say. but at least one each for sure since 1984.

2009 clad proof set 200 (because i like lincoln proof cent. and the mint add only $3.00 for 5 additional coins. 1 quarter and 4 cent).

as for silver proof set. i started late. and no plan to buy many.
