hehe, I know whatcha mean. It would be SO sweet to have a couple of them set back still unopened! By the way, thanks for the link. Appreciate that. You can pick up some really great deals at times on ebay now. I guess some people need the money really bad, and sometimes you can catch everyone sleeping. I took a shot at a 1999 Washington gold proof not too long ago for a little over $250. It was still in OGP, and has never been outta the capsule! It is brand spankin new. I almost fell outta my chair when I opened the box and saw it. That was another one that I missed out on back then that I have wanted really bad. Seeing the avatar all the time kept reminding me that I wanted one! Oops-Off topic.
I should look for one of those. I have always really liked that coin. Does it typically carry a premium over bullion or is it one of those commemorative coins that is pretty easy at bullion?
new issue of "greysheet" has the lincoln proof for $40 ROTFL try an find it for $40 they live in a bubble?
The really nice ones are usually around $325 and up, but I just kept looking for about 3 months, and caught several different people selling at the same time and got SO very lucky. I don't slab anything, as a matter of fact I don't even open the capsules on my coins, and I just so happen to find one.
Ken, you just had and go add salt to the wound didn't ya?! I know what you mean. Saw one at this weekends coin show and the guy wanted $4200.
I want a 2006 Rev Gold Pr Set SO bad it hurts, but I was the same way when I got my first svdb. I've had coins in my blood too long. Want..want...want
If you want a 2006 Rev gold proof, there is one on eBay, 150341942664, that is slabbed PR70. It has some comments at the bottom, and I'm curious as to exactly what it brings in the end. Perfect coin, but no returns??? hmmm Chuck
Pardon my ignorance but what is a gold sac? And in general is it the populat opinion that gold does better than silver?
