    Well the mint has no say in the matter. They DON"T get to pick the design.

    I agree but I would like to know what it says above the cabin If it isn't mandatory, it would be better if it was removed.

    Folks, NONE OF THOSE ARE OBVERSES! Those are all reverses. The obverse is mandated by law to be he same as the original obverse design used in 1909.

    Not sure, we can't tell because we haven't seen any of them. None of the designs shown so far are supposed to represent his presidency. The only description I've read mentioned a view of the Capital building with its unfinished dome. Although someone wants to show him signing the Emancipation Proclamation.
