The 1oz Bullion Britannia is being issued much earlier than usual in 2009, with the first coins being available in Mid January. We are now offering our clients the opportunity to order theirs on a pre-release basis. Source - weighton coin
Eddyk, you are correct. A response from the Royal Mint on the availability of an annual subscription program and release date: Hello Regrettably we do not offer an annual ordering system for the Britannia coins. We anticipate release of the coins to be in July. When released they will be advertised in our brochures and on our website. Kind regards
These coins seem to go up in value quite rapidly. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....ksid=p3907.m29&_trkparms=algo=LVI&its=I&otn=2 2005 UNC Britannia for £28...and still 2 days left. I bought mine from the royal mint site for £14.99 just 3 years ago. A tenner more and that's how much the proof cost back then.

Hi all I've just rembered I picked up a 1/10 Silver Brittania the other month. It comes in its own case with card detailing the coin and history (first issue year) , I think it is 1996. Any idea of mintages, and if it is a coin worth holding. Thanks Trepca
it is indeed one of the most beautiful design. but why the british mint issue so few?. are there any buyer at all?. for a very beautiful coin. u.s. mint should have no problem selling over 100,000 coins.
