    Welcome to Coin Talk @Trella Davis. IMO it looks like the nose took a hit leaving a small indentation on the nose (A small scar). Did you ever see a video of how fast those coins come out of the coining press? It's a wonder there aren't more dents on the coins. See if you can find a video of how coins are minted and showing how fast they fly into the hopper.

    A modern Schuler horizontal striking press spits out coins at rate of around 750 coins per minute, about 13 coins per second. This is as fast as a machine gun spits out bullets.
