2009 $100 Star Note With Major Defect

    Worth more than face value, that's for sure. A miss-cut star note is rare. The value will drop a little as the 2 bottom corners appear to be bent and looking at the back of the bill I can see 3 minor areas that show handling marks. Overall a very nice bill.

    I have no idea of the value. A local coin shop would be best. You may also get a good price on eBay. I'd tuck it away and keep if for years if I were you.

    Easy way to figure out the value (read: what people are willing to pay) is to spend a couple dollars and put a reserve price on eBay.
    Put a reserve at like 1,000, so it definitely will NOT sell (or maybe it does - then congrats!)
    See how high the bidding goes, and that's a good indicator of what the market will bear.

    A reserve does cost like 2-5 dollars or something. I don't remember exactly, but it's not free!
