How the heck are they supposed to fix an error before the next edition comes out? You want em to come over and dab some White-Out in your book, and change a 3 to a 4, or write the page number on the title page, or something?!</p><p> </p><p>And as for each edition being named for the year after... :rolling: For cryin out loud, give it a rest. You harp on that old string every time the Red Book gets mentioned. Is it really that confusing for you?! Every magazine, newspaper, and annual price guide in America is dated in advance! Haven't you ever bought a retail guide for automobiles or stamps or coins or any other old thing?! Don't you see magazines on the stand in October, but they say "November" on them??? It ain't rocket science! And you claim to be a Red Book collector --- you should know the RB has been dated that way for the past 60+ years! It's because the first edition was published so late in 1946, they put a date of 1947 on it; people have told you that, and told you that, on these forums, over and over again. </p><p> </p><p>Carl, you're not naive as you try to make yourself seem, but you do have a lot of learning to do as a coin collector and a book enthusiast.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
