2008 Alaska quarter...washington double mouth or a gouge?

Looking at this through a 30xs lens ..its hard for me to tell still if its a gouge ect. Let me know your take if you want to chime in. I've looked at it from all angles and 1 time I felt it was a scratch that created it to be honest, but no matter what he smiles twice as good!

Could be a minor Struck Through issue. Forget about doubling.

 

if its not worth anything I think I will keep it just for the fun of his smile .lol (maybe keep it regardless even if value)
I don't need a magnify glass to see it, its obvious with the naked eye... I think is how its said.

 

A minor error but so would keep it for reference.

 

Agree to keeping it. 2008 is a rare year for state quarter errors.

I have the 2008 Alaska quarter and I found errors on the D mint mark and also above the D , America and In God We Trust look to have some doubling on those letters . Can someone help me out?

 

If you could make a new thread with pictures, then somebody will probably have an answer.

 

The issue on the mint mark sounds like damage and eveything else os probably Die Deterioration doubling or worthless doubling.

 

Still worth a look, though. Just to be sure.

Are you on a phone? If so, take the image, go to the photo library, copy it, and then just paste it. That is how I do it and it works just fine.

 

Start your own thread so you'll get answers and post fuil size photos of both sides of the coin. State your question and comment specifically on the area.
