american buffalo uncirculated one ounce special lunar bullion coin is not available from the mint. the next price target might be around $1,156.95 - $1,184.95. initial offering is $$1,018.88 each.

Not sure if this has been posted but it looks like all the 2007 Proof gold eagles are sold out. Final mintages are:

So far the mint has sold about 8401 buffalo celebration gold which is also decent. Compare that to dolly Madison UNC coin which is only at 10,019. proof is at 15,040.

2008 silver proof eagle ounce has already sold 412,656 which is also good.

The only platinum to sell out so far are the two 2007 platinum sets [UNC and proof], looks like all the rest can came back up for sale at some point. The 2007 anniversary set hasn't changed in sales at 16,841 but still show possible for sale again at some point.
The 2007 Gold W unc coins though all show still left for sale at some point. Mintages compared to the proof are very low in comparison.

Intersting the 1/2 ounce has sold more than Dolly madison UNC coin at this point.

With higher gold prices for 2008 and more gold available [the buffalo fractional coins], I expect sales to drop for the 2008 gold W coins and also even the spouse. The buffalo fractionals should sell very well for a first year [ HSN type hype] so things could get interesting for other series.

 

2007 am eagle gold

2007 w american eagle uncirculated gold series will soon be removed from sale again. gold price increases and gonna hit over $1,000.00 soon. while 2008 w american eagle uncirculated gold series will be on sale during april, 2008.

 

The Buffalo gold celebration coin sales are up to 13,277, but they have this up now:

I just received my 2007 w silver eagles, one of them was inside the blue box on the fake velvet without the capsule while the plastic capsule was closed without the coin inside, and the box was open with the certificate of authenticity and the lid separated from the box. Horrible packing job.

 

This item is now for sale on the mint's website. For $100 more than before.

2007 w unc am eagle gold

the mint will certainly stop selling 2007 w the american eagle uncirculated gold series again. cause the gold price is up.

 

They went off sale about 10 days ago. I just got my last 10 of them on Tuesday for 21.95 each / In fact one was out of the box and out of the plastic loose in the box. The coin is ok but could not believe it could come out of both. If it were a proof I would have sent it back.
The 2008 go on sale Monday they will be 25.95

ultra high relief

the u s mint plan to produce an ultra high relief dated 2009 st. guadens .999 fineness, 1/2 ounce, 24K, gold coin. the face value will be $10.00. the date will be in roman numeral. will it be another reverse proof and proof two coins set?. well, safe your money for next year purchases.

p.s. the mint should have produce on 2007. the original $20.00 ultra high relief is dated 1907.
